Hertsmere Leisure extends their Partnership to include Swim School with Harlands!

Hertsmere Leisure is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee established to provide and promote community sport, recreational and arts services. It commenced trading in February 2002 and has enjoyed much success and growth in the intervening period.

Governed by a Board of Trustees it manages facilities owned by Hertsmere Borough Council, Hertfordshire County Council, Three Rivers District Council and Milton Keynes Council. It is also the Lead Agency selected by Hertfordshire County Council to develop 19 children’s Centres in Hertfordshire.

The Hertsmere Leisure Swim School operates a continuous assessment model in six centres providing lessons for over 6,000 learners. Hertsmere Leisure were seeking a revenue management solution which could simplify the payment process for both the company and
their customers. Software was installed that made it easier and more customer friendly and with this came the opportunity to move swim lesson payments on to Direct Debit.

“We already had a relationship with Harlands for collection of our fitness memberships and incorporating our swim school into our current agreement was the logical step to take” says Shirley Storrow, Finance and IT Support Manager.

“Harlands Group worked with us and our software company to ensure a smooth integration with our new swim lesson module to meet the needs of our company in terms of both customers and Hertsmere Leisure.

“We work closely with Harlands Clubline and the account management team who are always accommodating and on hand to assist with both technical and customer queries.”

Hertsmere Leisure are continuously working with the Harlands Group to improve and progress our interface and systems to ensure they are compliant and up to date with our processes.
